  • have a high school diploma
  • possess 2-3 years of customer service experience
  • possess 2-3 years of general clerical experience

  • utilize computer hardware and software including Microsoft Windows software such as Excel and Word including advanced merging and mailings
  • be willing to learn communication and visit systems used by the Office of Admission
  • have proven organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of general clerical experience

Job Duties

  • serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and their families
  • welcome campus visitors and ensure the admission presentation space is prepared
  • route phone calls and emails to appropriate staff
  • manage and coordinate daily schedules for campus visits
  • assist with scheduling tours, events, and related correspondence
  • prepare registration materials for on-campus admission events and yield receptions
  • communicate with high school and college fair contacts regarding counselor travel
  • support the Assistant Director of Admission with ongoing projects
  • distribute daily text and email messages to staff
  • assemble visit packages and maintain inventory
  • generate after-interview letters
  • maintain a welcoming reception area including managing supplies
  • post names of visiting students and event announcements
  • track RSVPs and manage registration lists
  • compile class options and assign hostesses for Senior Preview Days
  • maintain and update electronic appointment schedules
  • coordinate mailing of invitations and materials
  • train student and regular employees on operations and customer service
  • provide clerical support and assist with financial administrative backups
  • support special projects for senior staff
