Job Requirements
- 18 months experience or training in secretarial or administrative professional field
- completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications
- 6 months experience as Administrative Professional 1 or equivalent
- ability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in-person
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks
- attention to detail
- capability to use office software

Job Duties
- Serve as front desk receptionist
- greet and assist visitors
- sort and distribute mail
- relieve superior of routine administrative duties
- make recommendations regarding program activities
- maintain Compliance & Enforcement's policies and procedures
- support all Compliance & Enforcement supervisors with routine administrative duties
- answer all incoming telephone calls and route to appropriate person or division
- route all incoming correspondence to proper personnel
- answer pharmacy related questions
- monitor and review Compliance & Enforcement email boxes
- maintain investigative files and evidence
- receive complaints from the public and other sources
- enter complaints into the Board of Pharmacy’s records management system
- maintain logs of statistical information
- update inspection database
- request reports, records, legal documents, journal entries, and law enforcement sensitive information
- prepare monthly reports and summaries
- schedule meetings and presentations
- book reservations
- arrange travel
- assist in preparing materials for field staff meetings
- prepare education materials for presentations
- update licensing staff on inspections or changes in licensing status
- respond to requests from public, outside agencies, field staff, and other Board divisions
- support field staff with obtaining supplies and equipment
- order Compliance & Enforcement supplies and equipment
- assist in orientation of new employees
- maintain minutes of Compliance & Enforcement meetings
