Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 plus years general office administration experience
- Ability to operate multiline telephone systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical ability to lift 5-40 lbs occasionally
- Sitting for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks
Job Qualifications
- 1 plus years general office administration experience
- Proven ability to multi-task in fast-paced office environment
- Quick learner, detail oriented and self-motivated
- Construction or insurance industry experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
- Takes messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications
- Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies
- Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required
- Manages the main fax machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes
- Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing
