Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Ability to meet regular and punctual attendance standards

Job Duties

  • Answers telephone, provides information, routes calls and takes messages
  • Greets the public, answers questions and directs callers or visitors to sources of assistance
  • Duplicates and collates forms, reports, correspondence and other documents
  • Files documents and maintains records and files
  • Greets clients and visitors and directs them to office locations for service or assistance
  • Sorts and distributes mail
  • Inserts materials into envelopes and sorts for mailing
  • Assembles routine packets and folders
  • Orders supplies, and contacts vendors
  • Computes totals and performs simple mathematical calculations
  • Performs related work
