Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving patient experiences and care
- excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- team player with a positive attitude
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and highly organized
- knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- must be willing to participate in tuberculosis (TB) screening program
- available to work 40 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one year or more of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
- excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- team player with a positive attitude
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and highly organized
- knowledge of MS Office applications
- experience with value-based care models preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- accommodate visitors by greeting and issuing visitor passes
- maintain visitor logs and call logs
- take and distribute accurate messages
- respond to routine inquiries about the organization's location, hours, and contact information
- perform basic administrative and clerical tasks including booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing mail, and handling courier packages
- work under close supervision and maintain quality standards while following established policies and procedures
