Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
  • must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving patient experiences and care
  • excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • team player with a positive attitude
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and highly organized
  • knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • must be willing to participate in tuberculosis (TB) screening program
  • available to work 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year or more of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
  • excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • team player with a positive attitude
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and highly organized
  • knowledge of MS Office applications
  • experience with value-based care models preferred
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • accommodate visitors by greeting and issuing visitor passes
  • maintain visitor logs and call logs
  • take and distribute accurate messages
  • respond to routine inquiries about the organization's location, hours, and contact information
  • perform basic administrative and clerical tasks including booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing mail, and handling courier packages
  • work under close supervision and maintain quality standards while following established policies and procedures
