Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in administrative or secretarial roles preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic communication tools
  • Ability to type accurately and quickly
  • Experience with office equipment such as copier, printer, fax, and phone systems
  • Experience working in long-term care or with geriatric populations preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a secretarial position preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft product suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with electronic mail and calendaring systems
  • Ability to type with speed and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Perform record keeping including document scanning and filing
  • Maintain and operate the switchboard and handle telephone communications
  • Schedule appointments and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Greet and direct visitors and family members
  • Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and stocked with necessary supplies
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with inter-department personnel
  • Support the Administrator, Executive Director, or designee with general administrative tasks
