Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to demonstrate general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all duties
- Capability to work collaboratively and professionally with others
- Commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management

Job Duties
- Provide hospital telecommunication services through telephones, pagers, the paging system, radio, or computer
- Connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families
- Maintain records related to telecommunications such as long distance phone calls, on-call employees, and pages
- Incorporate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily work practices
- Manage and direct inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with quality and safety standards
- Collaborate closely with hospital staff and demonstrate professionalism at all times
