Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience in clerical or general office support
  • Receptionist experience at a hospital or medical setting preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow and model the organization’s mission, vision and values
  • Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system
  • Capability to use standard office equipment and computer
  • Availability to work every other weekend
  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull occasionally
  • Pass a criminal background check including BCI and FBI fingerprinting

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience with clerical or general office support
  • Receptionist experience at a hospital or other medical setting is preferred
  • Must have very strong customer service skills
  • Ability to enthusiastically follow and model the Lindner Center of Hope mission, vision and values

Job Duties

  • Greet all visitors in a respectful manner as they enter the main lobby
  • Assist all callers, visitors and staff members with questions and provide directions to the appropriate areas of LCOH
  • Answer the general information telephone lines and direct callers to the appropriate extensions
  • Operate a multi-line telephone system
  • Prepare the reception area for daily operations ensuring all front activities are fully operational
  • Operate specialized office equipment and maintain needed supplies for operation
  • Monitor visitor access and issue passes as appropriate
  • Sign for deliveries when necessary and notify recipients
  • Perform other duties as assigned
