Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of six months clerical experience or completion of a secretarial science program
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to post acute care facility
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- Understanding and adherence to company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Physical ability to perform job functions including sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving during work hours
- Effective communication skills in English
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university OR have a minimum of six (6) months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Demonstrated professionalism and integrity adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
