Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work evening shifts and weekends
  • previous experience in customer service or healthcare preferred
  • ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations is beneficial

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies
  • experience in customer service or reception preferred
  • knowledge of healthcare environment a plus
  • ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet all new residents to facility
  • explain and orient residents to facility services such as telephone, cable, dietary preferences, laundry and activities
  • resolve customer requests, questions and complaints
  • provide information to improve customer service
  • serve as liaison between residents and other departments
  • conduct inquiries on customer satisfaction
  • report information using recommended tools and forms
  • identify, research and resolve customer concerns
  • report trends to Quality Assurance Committee
  • follow up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved
  • coordinate discharge planning with resident, family, rehab, nursing, referrals to agencies
  • arrange for consults for residents annually or as needed
  • serve as role model to foster superb customer service
  • assist the center in ensuring adherence to Federal and State regulations including participating in survey process and the correction of deficiencies
