Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • two years customer service experience preferred
  • successful completion of pre-employment screening which includes criminal background check
  • ability to perform essential job functions
  • commitment to drug and alcohol free workplace

Job Duties

  • Schedules appointments
  • performs the necessary intake functions for arriving patients
  • answers questions
  • cash handling
  • directs telephone calls and other patient service duties
  • advises patients if provider is delayed upon arrival
  • informs patient every 15 minutes of appointment status
  • ensures that coverage and presence is always maintained at the front counter
  • may travel to nearby clinics to assist with coverage or training
  • promotes and demonstrates the mission, vision, and core values of Peak Vista
  • develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, management, staff, and leadership
  • embraces cultural diversity amongst staff and community
  • responsible for human, financial, and material resources entrusted
  • strives to deliver the best outcomes and highest quality service
  • demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to Compliance Plan and conflict of interest requirements
  • contributes to and participates in departmental performance improvement goals
  • performs other duties as assigned
