Job Duties

  • serve as the initial point of contact for the Court Administrative Office by greeting visitors, screening inquiries, and directing individuals to the appropriate divisions or personnel
  • operate a multi-line telephone system, answer calls, provide routine information, and forward messages to staff in a timely and accurate manner
  • process and distribute incoming mail and judges' courtesy copies in accordance with established procedures
  • prepare, edit, update, and finalize administrative documents, correspondence, directories, and reports
  • maintain and distribute current telephone lists for court departments
  • provide clerical support including photocopying, scanning, collating, filing, and document preparation
  • coordinate scheduling and reservations for the Court Administrative Office conference room and ensure meeting spaces are prepared and organized
  • escort visitors to meetings and interviews within the Administrative Office
  • maintain reception, lobby, and front desk areas in an orderly, organized, and professional condition
  • receive deliveries from carriers and vendors, verify, document, and distribute packages
  • manage office supply inventory, including requests, ordering, stocking, organizing, and tracking items
  • assist internal court employees with locating and retrieving office supplies
  • initiate, monitor, and track maintenance or facility service requests and communicate updates
  • set up and operate language line and asl interpretation equipment for telephonic and in-person communication needs
  • perform other related duties as assigned
