Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one-year experience in administrative or related role
- experience in a healthcare setting
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- ability to operate a telephone switchboard
- dependable with regular attendance
- ability to manage petty cash accounts
- basic bookkeeping knowledge preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety and security procedures
- ability to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related experience
- prior experience in a healthcare setting
- excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- prior experience using a switchboard
- positive and energetic attitude
- strong and effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Greet and direct visitors and residents within the facility
- answer telephone calls promptly and courteously with proper greeting
- transfer calls to appropriate departments and use overhead paging system when necessary
- assist maintenance or housekeeping staff using radio communication
- properly balance petty cash accounts and process credit card payments
- follow safety and security procedures
- communicate effectively with residents, family members, and co-workers
