Job Requirements
- Must have a positive, energetic attitude in serving residents and family members
- must be able to communicate clearly, quickly, and effectively
- dependability with regular attendance
- knowledge of basic bookkeeping preferred
- ability to learn and use proper procedures for radio communication
- willingness to work weekends and holidays
- fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related experience
- prior experience in a healthcare setting
- excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- prior experience using a switchboard
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Greet and direct visitors and residents
- answer telephones promptly and courteously with proper greeting
- transfer calls to appropriate departments and use overhead paging system when necessary
- balance petty cash accounts and process credit card payments forwarding information to bookkeeping
- learn and use proper procedures to operate radio for contacting maintenance or housekeeping staff
- assist visitors in the facility with courteous and responsive communication
- follow safety and security procedures
- communicate effectively with co-workers
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
