Job Requirements

  • A minimum of one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related experience
  • prior experience in a healthcare setting
  • must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to perform job
  • must have excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • must have prior experience using a switchboard
  • must have dependable, regular attendance
  • ability to balance petty cash accounts
  • ability to process credit card payments
  • strong communication skills
  • willingness to follow safety and security procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related role
  • prior experience in a healthcare setting
  • proficient computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • familiarity with switchboard operation
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage petty cash and basic bookkeeping
  • positive and energetic attitude in serving residents and families

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct visitors and residents
  • answer telephones promptly and courteously with proper greeting
  • transfer calls to appropriate department and use overhead paging system when necessary
  • process credit card payments and forward information to bookkeeping
  • balance petty cash accounts
  • use radio to contact maintenance or housekeeping staff following proper procedures
  • communicate effectively with residents, family, and co-workers
  • learn and follow safety and security protocols
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • adhere to team and CARE Values
