Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior administrative experience of at least one year
  • demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform job duties
  • previous healthcare setting experience required
  • dependable and regular attendance
  • ability to balance petty cash accounts
  • proficiency in basic bookkeeping preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • ability to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow safety and security procedures

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related field
  • prior experience in a healthcare setting
  • proficiency in computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • experience using a telephone switchboard
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • positive and energetic attitude
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • greet and direct visitors and residents within the facility
  • answer telephones promptly and courteously with proper greeting
  • transfer calls to appropriate departments and use overhead paging systems as needed
  • learn and follow procedures when using radios to contact maintenance or housekeeping
  • process credit card payments and forward information to bookkeeping
  • maintain and balance petty cash accounts
  • follow safety and security protocols
  • respond effectively to resident and family questions and requests using strong communication skills
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • uphold team and CARE values
