Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior administrative experience of at least one year
- demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform job duties
- previous healthcare setting experience required
- dependable and regular attendance
- ability to balance petty cash accounts
- proficiency in basic bookkeeping preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- ability to follow safety and security procedures
Job Qualifications
- minimum of one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related field
- prior experience in a healthcare setting
- proficiency in computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- experience using a telephone switchboard
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- positive and energetic attitude
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- greet and direct visitors and residents within the facility
- answer telephones promptly and courteously with proper greeting
- transfer calls to appropriate departments and use overhead paging systems as needed
- learn and follow procedures when using radios to contact maintenance or housekeeping
- process credit card payments and forward information to bookkeeping
- maintain and balance petty cash accounts
- follow safety and security protocols
- respond effectively to resident and family questions and requests using strong communication skills
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
- uphold team and CARE values
