Job Requirements
- Minimum of one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related experience
- previous experience in a healthcare setting required
- must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to perform job
- positive, energetic attitude
- excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- prior experience using switchboard
- dependable regular attendance
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related experience
- previous experience in a healthcare setting
- proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- prior experience using a switchboard
- excellent communication skills
- positive and energetic attitude in serving residents and family members
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Greet and direct visitors and residents within the facility
- answer telephones promptly and courteously with proper greeting
- transfer calls to appropriate departments and use overhead paging system when necessary
- process credit card payments and forward information to bookkeeping
- balance petty cash accounts accurately
- learn and use proper procedures when using radio to contact maintenance or housekeeping staff
- know and follow safety and security procedures
- respond courteously and effectively to resident and family questions and requests
- communicate effectively with co-workers
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
