Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related experience
  • previous experience in a healthcare setting required
  • must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to perform job
  • positive, energetic attitude
  • excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • prior experience using switchboard
  • dependable regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-year experience as an administrative assistant or related experience
  • previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • prior experience using a switchboard
  • excellent communication skills
  • positive and energetic attitude in serving residents and family members
  • strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct visitors and residents within the facility
  • answer telephones promptly and courteously with proper greeting
  • transfer calls to appropriate departments and use overhead paging system when necessary
  • process credit card payments and forward information to bookkeeping
  • balance petty cash accounts accurately
  • learn and use proper procedures when using radio to contact maintenance or housekeeping staff
  • know and follow safety and security procedures
  • respond courteously and effectively to resident and family questions and requests
  • communicate effectively with co-workers
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
