Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year or more experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
  • strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers
  • passion for contributing to improved patient experiences and care
  • excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • team player with positive attitude
  • ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and highly organized
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • willingness to participate in Tuberculosis screening program as part of patient-facing responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year or more experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • experience in customer service in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
  • excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
  • positive attitude and team player
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • familiarity with value-based care models preferred

Job Duties

  • Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • accommodate visitors with prompt courteous service
  • operate switchboard or multi-line phone systems
  • maintain long distance call logs
  • take and distribute accurate messages
  • greet visitors and issue visitor passes
  • maintain visitor logs and alert appropriate parties of visitor arrival
  • respond to routine inquiries regarding organization hours, location and contacts
  • book meeting rooms and manage schedules
  • type and organize correspondence and documentation
  • distribute mail and handle courier packages
  • perform basic administrative and clerical tasks
  • work under close supervision within established policies and procedures
