Job Requirements

  • previous office experience
  • proficient computer skills
  • typing speed of 40 words per minute
  • exceptional customer service skills

  • valid driver’s license and insurance
  • pass pre-employment drug screening including marijuana
  • pass background check
  • pass TB test

Job Duties

  • Compose and type routine correspondence including admission and discharge summaries
  • prepare outpatient and DUI patient files
  • answer and screen phone calls, direct calls to staff, take messages, and schedule appointments
  • greet visitors and direct them to appropriate personnel
  • collect patient fees and prepare detailed summary sheets
  • provide relevant information on current and former patients to counselors, the court, probation, and parole personnel
  • maintain the DUI/Outpatient Library and assign videos to counselors
  • sort and deliver incoming and interoffice mail and prepare outgoing mail
  • maintain petty cash while on duty
