Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year or more experience in healthcare or related customer service
  • passion for improving patient experiences and care
  • excellent customer service skills
  • positive team player attitude
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • detail-oriented and organized
  • proficiency in MS Office suite

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred but may consider candidates with a strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers
  • excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • team player with a positive attitude
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and highly organized
  • knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • value-based care model experience preferred
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with EMR systems preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • accommodate visitors promptly, courteously, and accurately
  • operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs
  • take and distribute accurate messages
  • greet visitors, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs
  • alert appropriate parties of visitor arrivals or direct visitors to appropriate offices
  • respond to routine inquiries regarding location, hours, phone numbers, and email addresses
  • perform basic administrative, clerical, operational, and customer support tasks
  • book meeting rooms, type correspondence, organize and distribute mail, receive and send courier packages
