Job Requirements

  • Student enrolled at Texas A&M, RELLIS, or Blinn College
  • submission of current Fall 2025 class schedule with application
  • experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Google Docs and Sheets
  • must maintain compliance with Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies
  • flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
  • ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, talking, reaching, sitting, and repetitive hand and wrist motions

Job Duties

  • Greeting people entering the student center
  • answering the telephone, screening and directing calls
  • taking and relaying messages
  • providing information to callers
  • scheduling Mass intentions
  • providing general administrative and clerical support
  • controlling inventory relevant to the front desk area
  • maintaining the lobby and front desk area
  • supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic ministry
  • acting as a witness to Gospel values
  • participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities
