Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of direct customer service experience
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to perceive sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
  • Ability to stand and physically direct individuals
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Must maintain record confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
  • Ability and willingness to perform job-related travel
  • Available Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with possible extended hours during seasonal events

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of direct customer service experience required
  • One year as a receptionist preferred
  • One year of general clerical duties preferred
  • Working knowledge of general office clerical methods and telephone procedures
  • Strong communication skills in dealing with the public with courtesy and diplomacy
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required

Job Duties

  • Models excellent customer service behaviors in internal/external interactions
  • Professionally greet and direct all visitors, clients, and guests, ensuring they are connected with the appropriate staff or program
  • Answers phone calls and general questions, offering information about our programs, services, and locations
  • Connects clients with external community resources when needed
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
  • Manages and schedules meeting rooms for internal and external teams
  • Stays up-to-date on all program services, hours of operation, and locations to provide accurate information
  • Performs clerical duties such as signing for packages, notifying staff of deliveries, and assisting with special projects
  • Collaborates with reception team to improve customer support processes
  • Monitors inbound calls to identify and report public concerns
  • Participates in special projects including public health emergency operations
