Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs with occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
  • fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing ability to detect equipment sounds from a distance
  • ability to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • preferred minimum of one year experience in a customer or patient facing role

Job Qualifications

  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to operate standard office equipment
  • familiarity with basic computer applications
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • assist donors with appointments
  • create or pull donor record files
  • provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • maintain an orderly filing system and purge records
  • report to the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes through approved company procedures
