Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
  • Fine motor coordination and depth perception
  • Ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Willingness to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • Minimum one year experience in a customer or patient facing role

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic administrative and record keeping skills

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • Assist donors with appointments
  • Create or pull donor record files
  • Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • Maintain orderly filing system including purging records
  • Report to center management team opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes through approved procedures
