Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or facility operations preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform duties including sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 45 lbs
- strong verbal communication skills with clear and engaging voice
- ability to walk and transport oneself around the association and recreation center facilities

Job Duties
- Greet residents and their guests, answer phone calls, assist guests with questions regarding spa and fitness services and products, book appointments, check residents/guests
- monitor activities in exercise equipment areas, aerobic room, aquatic areas, locker rooms, and spa and report any safety and facility concerns to management
- advise residents and their guests of facility policies and procedures
- perform minor custodial duties including wiping down machines and picking up discarded items
- perform facility opening and closing procedures and identify changes to implement
- maintain the organization and cleanliness of the health/wellness areas
- validate resident/guest participation and issue fitness equipment upon request
- respond to emergency situations per First Aid/CPR training and/or facility procedures as necessary
- accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments
- ensure the check-in, check-out and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy
- handle guests’ questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously
- maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- perform other related duties as directed
