Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience working with a frail, elderly population
  • 1 year of receptionist or front desk experience
  • current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (American Heart Association) certification
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • verbal ability for accurate and tactful explanation
  • excellent computer skills
  • ability to lift approximately 25 lbs
  • willingness to work evenings and/or weekends
  • able to travel to other sites
  • compliance with pre-employment requirements including I-9, physical, background check, reference check, application, orientation and mandated vaccination requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet people upon arrival
  • answer telephones
  • route callers
  • provide information to visitors, staff and participants
  • check in all participants and visitors upon arrival to the Day Center
  • assist visitors and participants by providing guidance and directions
  • call for an escort when necessary
  • track daily attendance and monitor transportation services as appropriate
  • schedule appointments as needed
  • be knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and recommend improvements to service delivery
  • understand PACE eligibility criteria and communicate basic PACE criteria to interested parties
  • assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
  • provide assistance to PACE Center Leadership
  • act as liaison between PACE Administration and other departments
