Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least one year of customer service experience working in a medical or mental health office or equivalent
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Ability to respond effectively in emergencies
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Compliance with drug and nicotine testing policies
- Recommended COVID-19 vaccination
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related field
- At least one year of customer service experience in a medical or mental health office or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
- Proficiency in managing records and office inventory
Job Duties
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and on the telephone
- Maintain patient medical record filing and ensure availability of treatment information
- Record and update patients' personal and financial information for accounts
- Maintain inventory and order supplies for the business office and schedule equipment maintenance
- Respond to patient emergencies and provide comfort to anxious patients
- Protect patient confidentiality by safeguarding medical, personal, and financial information
- Follow organizational procedures and contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks
