Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • At least one year of customer service experience working in a medical or mental health office or equivalent
  • Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergencies
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Compliance with drug and nicotine testing policies
  • Recommended COVID-19 vaccination

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a medical or mental health office or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in managing records and office inventory

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and on the telephone
  • Maintain patient medical record filing and ensure availability of treatment information
  • Record and update patients' personal and financial information for accounts
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies for the business office and schedule equipment maintenance
  • Respond to patient emergencies and provide comfort to anxious patients
  • Protect patient confidentiality by safeguarding medical, personal, and financial information
  • Follow organizational procedures and contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks
