Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one to three months related experience or training
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • customer service skills
  • proficiency in operating PBX telephone system
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • adherence to vaccination policy
  • capacity to work every other weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Duties

  • Obtain caller's name and arrange for appointment with person called upon
  • create and edit departmental newsletters
  • interact courteously, tactfully and politely with managers, co-workers, residents, vendors or associates
  • direct caller to destination and record name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon
  • operate PBX telephone console to receive incoming messages
  • type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • issue visitor's pass when required
  • make future appointments and answer inquiries
  • collect and distribute mail and messages
  • perform variety of clerical duties
