Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an ambulatory care environment preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependability and attention to detail
- Ability to work part-time during day shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous training in medical office skills and procedures preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required
- One to two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
- Experience in cashier, billing, filing, reception, telephone, or computer operations
Job Duties
- Perform clerical duties in an ambulatory care setting
- Manage patient reception and scheduling
- Handle patient financial account functions
- Assist in coordinating primary health care services
- Operate cashier functions and basic account posting
- Perform billing and filing tasks
- Manage telephone and computer operations related to patient services
