Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong computer skills including data entry and word processing
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications

- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management

- Ability to work closely and professionally with others
Job Duties
- Provide hospital telecommunication services through telephones, pagers, the paging system, radio, and computer to connect visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families
- Maintain records related to telecommunication such as long-distance phone calls, on-call employees, and pages
- Integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
- Respond professionally and courteously to inquiries and incoming communications
- Coordinate communication flow between different hospital departments and external contacts
- Assist in maintaining confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information
- Support administrative tasks related to communication and record-keeping
