Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a healthcare or administrative role preferred
  • ability to perform physical demands of the job
  • compliance with Residents' Rights and facility policies
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • willingness to learn and attend in-service training

Job Duties

  • Operate paging/telephone system as required
  • answer telephone and direct calls appropriately
  • receive inquiries and release information per policies
  • manage Patient Trust Fund as directed
  • greet and direct visitors and residents
  • provide directions and information
  • assist with administrative duties like typing and filing
  • receive, sort, and distribute mail
  • operate office machines including copier and computer
  • order supplies as directed
  • assist department directors with administrative matters
  • attend required in-service education programs
  • maintain knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • uphold confidentiality of resident and facility information
  • protect residents from neglect, mistreatment, and abuse
  • safeguard residents' personal property
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or administrator
