Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clerical or secretarial experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality
- Genuine interest in senior care and support
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- One year of secretarial training or clerical experience
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Pleasant personality and telephone voice
- Ability to remain calm in emergencies
- Maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in working with older adults
Job Duties
- Answer all telephone calls quickly in a polite and friendly manner
- Transfer calls appropriately and take messages when needed
- Monitor emergency system and direct staff to emergent situations
- Greet visitors and ensure they sign in and wear badges
- Keep reception desk and lobby clean and organized
- Facilitate transportation requests and communicate timing to residents and staff
- Assist residents with program sign-ups and payment collection
- Manage office equipment and report supply needs
- Sell postage stamps and handle mail and package logistics
- Facilitate and input maintenance requests
- Complete monthly charge sheets
- Support other departments in clerical duties
- Balance cash register and drawer including cash receipts and checks
- Support Lead Receptionist in clerical tasks and reception maintenance
