Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in office or secretarial environment
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and software
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
- Detail oriented
- Ability to meet the public
- Must present as professional and courteous at all times
- Certification in HPTC approved de-escalation program
- Possess a good telephone manner
- TB screening

Job Duties
- Compliance with federal regulations including 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA
- Collects and enters data needed for reports
- Meets and greets all visitors and assists with their requests
- Maintains accurate visitor log and confidentiality letters
- Receives, screens, and directs all incoming switchboard calls
- Receives and distributes deliveries according to policy
- Maintains reception area and office machines
- Handles sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail including postage management
- Coordinates emergency codes and evacuation procedures
- Performs basic secretarial functions as assigned
- Attends mandatory training and meetings
- Responds to TTY and in-house codes
- Utilizes universal precautions
- Recognizes and respects patient rights
- Admits new clients into the program
- Completes other duties as assigned by management
