Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- basic computer proficiency including data entry and word processing
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- effective organizational skills

- willingness to perform per diem work shifts

Job Duties
- provide hospital telecommunication services through telephones, pagers, paging system, radio, or computer to connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families
- maintain records related to telecommunications such as long distance phone calls, on-call employees, and pages
- integrate hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
- manage multi-line phone system efficiently
- greet and direct visitors professionally
- schedule appointments and maintain patient reception area
- assist with administrative tasks as needed
