Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency including data entry and email
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekdays and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards

  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others

Job Duties

  • Provide hospital telecommunication services using telephones, pagers, paging system, radio, and computer
  • Connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families
  • Maintain records related to telecommunications such as long-distance phone calls, on-call employees, and pages
  • Integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
  • Assist with data entry, word processing, email, and record management
  • Manage organizational and time management tasks effectively
  • Maintain quality, safety standards, and confidentiality in all interactions
