Job Requirements
- Part-time employment type
- availability for rotating shifts including day, evening, and night
- ability to respond promptly to in-house emergencies
- effective communication skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- basic familiarity with security systems and office equipment
- attention to detail and a courteous demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in English
- able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- preferably three months of receptionist experience
- familiarity with switchboard, communication systems, and security cameras
- ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- capable of performing essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Duties
- Uphold The McAuley's mission and Mercy Community Health's values
- greet and direct visitors and residents, answering questions and providing information
- reserve guest apartments and handle follow-ups
- distribute memos, newsletters, and resident mail
- manage UPS deliveries and registered mail
- respond to emergency alarms and coordinate with security and maintenance
- maintain and update reception forms and filing systems
- operate the switchboard and monitor security cameras
- schedule transportation and manage resident trip sign-ups
- handle work orders and key control system
