Job Requirements

  • Part-time employment type
  • availability for rotating shifts including day, evening, and night
  • ability to respond promptly to in-house emergencies
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • basic familiarity with security systems and office equipment
  • attention to detail and a courteous demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English
  • able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • preferably three months of receptionist experience
  • familiarity with switchboard, communication systems, and security cameras
  • ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • capable of performing essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Duties

  • Uphold The McAuley's mission and Mercy Community Health's values
  • greet and direct visitors and residents, answering questions and providing information
  • reserve guest apartments and handle follow-ups
  • distribute memos, newsletters, and resident mail
  • manage UPS deliveries and registered mail
  • respond to emergency alarms and coordinate with security and maintenance
  • maintain and update reception forms and filing systems
  • operate the switchboard and monitor security cameras
  • schedule transportation and manage resident trip sign-ups
  • handle work orders and key control system
