Job Duties

  • Answer all telephone calls promptly in a polite and friendly manner
  • Transfer calls to appropriate staff
  • Take messages when requested
  • Monitor emergency systems and direct staff to emergent situations
  • Call emergency personnel when necessary
  • Conduct resident checks as required
  • Provide visitor information and direct visitors to appropriate contacts
  • Ensure visitors and contractors sign in and wear badges according to policy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception desk and lobby
  • Facilitate transportation requests and coordinate scheduling
  • Place courtesy calls to residents about transportation trips
  • Assist residents with program sign-ups and collect payments
  • Manage mail and packages including sorting and logging
  • Facilitate and communicate maintenance requests
  • Complete monthly charge sheets
  • Support other departments with clerical duties
  • Balance cash register and handle cash receipts and checks
