Job Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
- knowledge of Microsoft Suite products
- familiarity with clerical functions and multiline phone systems
- ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- effective communication skills
- ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- willingness to work primarily in a reception/administrative area
- no travel required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures
- ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- effective presentation and communication skills to respond to managers and employees
- basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products and clerical functions
- proficiency with multiline phone systems
- ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
- ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
Job Duties
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor
- answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
- check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
- inform other employees of visitors' arrivals and cancellations
- maintain visitor sign-in log
- handle incoming and outgoing mail
- schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings
- maintain and tidy the reception area
- perform other duties as assigned
- agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations to the Administrator
- maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information
- report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure
