Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
  • knowledge of Microsoft Suite products
  • familiarity with clerical functions and multiline phone systems
  • ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • willingness to work primarily in a reception/administrative area
  • no travel required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures
  • ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • effective presentation and communication skills to respond to managers and employees
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products and clerical functions
  • proficiency with multiline phone systems
  • ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions

Job Duties

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor
  • answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
  • check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
  • inform other employees of visitors' arrivals and cancellations
  • maintain visitor sign-in log
  • handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings
  • maintain and tidy the reception area
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations to the Administrator
  • maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information
  • report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure
