Job Duties

  • Welcome visitors warmly and direct them to their desired locations
  • Maintain security of the community and cover the front lobby ensuring no residents leave the building unattended
  • Require all guests to sign in and out
  • Answer phones cheerfully and route calls to appropriate individuals
  • Communicate and interact effectively providing stability and acting as a role model for residents and staff
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of every resident
  • Respond to questions about the facility and services provided
  • Tour prospective residents and their families, obtaining pertinent information and completing inquiry forms
  • Maintain current knowledge of resident status, census, and personnel information
  • Coordinate mail flow and deliver resident mail promptly
  • Maintain an organized work area and lobby ensuring it is tidy and welcoming
  • Accept job applications and route to supervisors
  • Receive and receipt rent checks and bookkeeping as directed
  • Create files for residents receiving Home Health Services and ensure documentation of visits
  • Assist residents with smoking privileges
  • Schedule appointments as directed
  • Perform filing, auditing, faxing, and e-mail tasks as needed
  • Perform other assigned job tasks
