Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least six months clerical experience or completion of a secretarial science program
- Have a thorough understanding of receptionist best practices
- Proficiency with personal computers, email, Word, Excel and office machines
- Possession of an active driver's license
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Availability to work part-time on weekends
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Have a thorough understanding of the principles of best receptionist practices
- Knowledge on the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word and Excel and minor office machines such as faxes and copiers
- Active Driver's License
- At least six months in a clerical position or successfully completed secretarial science program from an accredited school or college
Job Duties
- Greeting and assisting visitors, residents, family members, sales representatives, etcetera, and giving directions or information
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and delivering messages
- Sorting incoming mail and processing outgoing mail
- Operating business office machines and telephone/paging system
- Disbursing resident fund petty cash
- Receiving and providing receipts for payments made to the facility
- Assisting with administrative duties such as typing reports, correspondence, filing, posting accounts, etcetera
- Maintaining the front office/lobby area
- Ensuring deliveries are picked up promptly
- Assisting in listening and reporting resident and family complaints
- Providing the purchase of employee and guest meal tickets
- Taking inventory, ordering, and dispersing office and central nursing supplies
- Assisting with the accounts payable process
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care
- Driving residents to appointments or pick-ups
