Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
- basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products
- familiarity with clerical functions
- ability to operate a multiline phone system
- ability to communicate effectively
- capacity to maintain confidentiality
- ability to handle occasional physical demands such as lifting up to 25 pounds
- ability to work in a low to moderate noise office environment
- no clinical duties required
- no supervisory responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- must possess a high school diploma or GED
- previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and professional journals
- ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions and percentages
- ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables
- ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, clerical functions and multiline phone systems
Job Duties
- provide general administrative and clerical support
- greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor
- answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
- check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
- inform other employees of visitors' arrivals and cancellations
- maintain visitor sign-in log
- handle incoming and outgoing mail
- schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings
- maintain and tidy the reception area
- perform other duties as assigned
- agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations
- maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information
