Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or current high school student
  • One year prior clerical or secretarial experience
  • Ability to read and interpret general business correspondence
  • Ability to speak in a pleasant, clear voice
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, decimals, and units of money
  • Ability to apply common sense and carry out instructions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Ability to relate cordially to diverse individuals
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Willingness to adhere to community policies and dress code

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Answer and direct telephone calls to the main switchboard
  • Greet and assist residents, guests, vendors, and families
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Perform general office tasks such as copying, folding, shredding, faxing, and typing
  • Respond to emergency calls promptly
  • Follow performance standards and administrative policies
  • Attend mandatory and general in-service training sessions
