Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good communication skills including clear speaking and professional telephone manners
  • Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Willingness to perform temporary part-time work

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors directing them to the appropriate person or department
  • Inform other employees of visitors' arrivals or cancellations
  • Answer incoming telephone calls forwarding or taking messages as appropriate
  • Check voicemail and return calls
  • Manage conference room calendar
  • Create employee badges and ensure their delivery to the appropriate location
  • Maintain safe and clean reception area
  • Log incoming/outgoing mail and affix appropriate postage
  • Process and sort interoffice mail and place it into appropriate mailboxes
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources team including data entry, scanning and filing documents
  • Embrace the agency's core values
  • Contribute to the fulfillment of department and agency objectives and goals
  • Comply with all department and agency policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
