Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous dealership experience
  • Knowledge of Excel and routine accounting functions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Successful completion of background screening including criminal background check, motor vehicle record review and social security verification

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
  • Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Ability to effectively communicate customer interests, needs and requests to management and sales personnel
  • Professional appearance

Job Duties

  • Operate switchboard telephone system by answering phones and directing customers to the appropriate department
  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, while minimizing hold times
  • Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate department for resolution
  • Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers
  • make correct change and issue receipts
  • Assist managers with various clerical duties as needed
  • Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with customers and fellow employees
