Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of office procedures equivalent to completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One month of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education
  • Good interpersonal relations with proven communication skills

Job Duties

  • Monitors security cameras, fire and security alarms
  • Maintains radio contact with maintenance department and nursing home vehicles
  • Maintains security cameras
  • Keeps a log of keys signed in and out
  • Answers incoming calls, determines purpose of calls and forwards to appropriate personnel or department and dials requested numbers
  • Directs questions about the organization to appropriate personnel and provides callers with address, directions and other information
  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business and directs to appropriate area
  • Assists with special events
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties such as filing, collating, copying, sorting and typing
  • Makes emergency 911 calls
