Job Duties

  • Greet all customers entering the service area with a professional, friendly manner
  • answer their questions and direct them to the appropriate person or location
  • maintain customer satisfaction in every interaction and always provide superior customer service
  • operate a multi-line phone system and switchboard
  • answer all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transferring them to the appropriate person or department quickly
  • minimize the time callers are on hold and check back frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding
  • record detailed messages when calls cannot be completed, including caller's name, telephone number, time of call, and information requested, and deliver to appropriate party promptly
  • develop knowledge of basic dealership information to respond to general inquiries
  • perform clerical duties as assigned
  • maintain a professional appearance and neat work area
