Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • one to three years of relevant experience
  • ability to multitask and communicate effectively
  • proficient in computer use and common software applications
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • One to three years of prior relevant experience
  • ability to work on various assignments simultaneously
  • tactful verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and visitors
  • working knowledge of computers, internet access, and ability to navigate automated systems
  • proficiency with software packages including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • high school graduate or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming telephone calls
  • determine purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
  • answer questions about the organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information
  • welcome on-site visitors and determine nature of business
  • announce visitors to appropriate personnel
  • monitor visitor access and issue passes when required
  • perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating
