Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in reception or clerical roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Professional demeanor in dealing with clients and visitors
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • One year of experience in a clerical receptionist or switchboard position
  • Exceptional communication skills verbal written and non-verbal
  • Ability to work in a positive strength-based manner with diverse community and government stakeholders
  • Professionalism in handling difficult clients and visitors
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Answer multi-line telephone system directing all calls to the appropriate persons take messages and provide accurate information in response to inquiries
  • Greet and direct all visitors including vendors clients job candidates and customers and notify the appropriate person of his/her arrival and maintain logs for all guests
  • Assist parents with supplying documentation for childcare subsidies
  • Function as primary contact for issues related to ID/Access Cards key fobs portable projector shared laptop and lost/stolen equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe reception area keeping it always tidy
  • Perform routine clerical tasks such as filing bulk mailing photocopies faxing creating flyers classroom lists etc
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide administrative support to the EHS/HS Director
  • Collaborate with the Site Director with the creation of the reception monthly schedule
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
