Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to respond to emergencies in a calm manner
- light typing skills
- First Aid and CPR training (may be acquired within one month of employment)
- proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- experience with Field Force work order entry
- experience with POS system
- enjoy working with seniors
- good interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate with seniors in a positive, courteous, confidential and professional manner

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- commitment to Christian faith and alignment with CRISTA's Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement
- ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies
- proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- experience with Field Force work order entry and POS systems is preferred
- good interpersonal and organizational skills
- ability to maintain detailed, neat, and accurate documentation
- ability to communicate professionally with seniors and maintain confidentiality
- prior receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification may be required within one month of employment
Job Duties
- Respond to resident pull cords and smoke alarms and handle or refer as appropriate
- respond to alarms and handle or triage for fire and disaster
- greet and facilitate for residents, family members or advocates, visitors and vendors who call or enter Cristwood
- ensure all visitors and vendors sign in and out of buildings
- answer phones in a courteous and professional manner and route calls as appropriate
- meet and or refer all needs presented by residents such as copying, faxing, selling stamps, scheduling guest apartment and providing elevator pads or roll-away beds
- create and distribute memos to residents and staff and distribute or forward mail
- collaborate with HIPAA Privacy Officer to maintain strict confidentiality
- record, coordinate and track maintenance requests
- inform Administrator and Business Office Manager of information relevant to safety and status of residents
- provide administrative support to Administrator, Business Office Manager and Admissions Coordinator
- assemble and mail packets to potential residents
- complete shift documentation including receptionist log and incident reports
- assist with daily mail distribution
- check keys in and out for staff, vendors, residents and guest apartment
- register, confirm or cancel events or bus trip reservations for residents
- work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, residents and families
- perform other duties as assigned
