Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • one to two years experience in ambulatory care or related clerical roles preferred
  • proficiency with computer applications and telephone systems
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • effective communication skills
  • basic understanding of medical terminology preferred
  • ability to work day shifts part time

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • previous training in general medical office skills and procedures preferred
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required
  • one to two years experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
  • familiarity with billing and filing procedures
  • strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • perform clerical tasks including reception and scheduling
  • manage patient financial accounts
  • assist in coordinating primary health care services in ambulatory care
  • handle cashier duties and basic account posting
  • perform billing, filing, and telephone operations
  • maintain organized medical records
  • support the ambulatory care team with daily administrative functions
